The Vision
The vision of Rowhani Bahá’í School is to significantly contribute to the spiritual, intellectual and social development of children and youth of Vanuatu, so that they may become agents of social change and development, may become spiritually empowered to deal with all the challenges life may send them, and become a distinctive group of people, dedicated to the service of others in their community. In short, to facilitate the creation of “a new race of men.”
“A new race of men, incomparable in character, shall be raised up which, with the feet of detachment ... will cast the sleeve of holiness over all that hath been created from water and clay.”
~ Bahá’u’lláh

The Mission
As a first step in “creating a new race of men”, we want to build up a sense of unity in our classes and in the school, whereby each individual is empowered with a greater sense of belonging to the school community. This will instill a greater realization of the oneness of humankind, which is the foundation of world unity.
In addition to this, the students will learn to apply Bahá’í principles in the school and in the community. Special focus will be given to the following: the equality of men and women; the elimination of all forms of prejudice; independent investigation of truth and the practice of truthfulness; trustworthiness and respect.
